Live from Bonnaroo 2009 DVD

In June of 2009, Bonnaroo celebrated it's eighth year with what was widely considered to be a banner year in the event's history. The dazzling array of performers ranged from Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band to Phish and also included artists such as The Beastie Boys, Snoop Dogg, Elvis Costello, Zac Brown and many, many more. "Live From Bonnaroo 2009" on DVD will now allow viewers to experience the event again or for the first time. The DVD will feature select exclusive performances and atmosphere footage along with pristine audio presented in 5.1 surround straight from the Bonnaroo master tapes.

"Live from Bonnaroo 2009" is available for pre-order now! If you purchase your DVD during this special pre-order offer, you will automatically be entered into a contest to watch a show of your choice from the sound board or side stage viewing platform at Bonnaroo 2010! • Although I would have liked to see moe., Merle Haggard, David Byrne, Gov't Mule, or The Mars Volta(!) on the DVD, my biggest complaint is that some of these songs already appeared in the Fuse special earlier this year. Outlaw Pete and Intergalactic for sure and I think I Wanna Love You. That's kinda lame. Whether that's the fault of the artists themselves or the organizers, it still sucks.

  • Wait? NIN and MGMT aren't on the DVD? that's pretty much the only reason I was going to buy the it. MGMT had a HUGE turn out...I don't see why they didn't cover it. I mean there was a twenty foot radius that didn't even fit in the tent.

  • It never ceases to amaze me how an incredible setlist like this comes out and people still find room to complain. Great job Bonnaroo Staff! I think the DVD is dope and highly recommend!

  • i had tthe time of my life at bonnaroo, and this is a good set and all, but this is not anywhere near the experience that should be available. no oakenfold, mgmt, nin, or anything good like that. out of over 100 artists there you only pick THAT? thats DISAPPOINTING to the fullest.

  • This lineup is absolutely incredible and it's huge that they could pull this many artists off. It's the band's decision if they're not on the dvd, for most of the big name artists such as NIN and MGMT. They're the ones who have to approve the material. If Bonnaroo organizers could cherry pick each performance for the dvd based on their choices and not have to only operate within the parameters set by each band's record label, then the dvd would look a lot different.
