Farewell From Manchester
by Emily Zemler (06/17/09 06:12 PM)

A video wrap-up from your Bonnaroo 2009 correspondents:

As we say a fond goodbye to Bonnaroo 2009, I would like to take this opportunity to thank several people who made the experience great. I promise to keep my speech under one minute so please don't cue the music yet.

Thank you to Superfly for bringing us to Manchester in the first place and making our job fun and easy (although, Jonathan, you owe me a helicopter ride). Thank you to the stage managers at What Stage, That Tent, and This Tent for generously allowing us to camp out in their production trailers all week. Debi, if you are reading this, your husband is a lovely man. Thank you to everyone at Big Hassle and to Steve at Nasty Little Man for all their help gaining access to inaccessible. Thank you to Alan, Paul, and Ben (a.k.a. Team Hydra) for being the best co-bloggers in the world. Thank you to everyone who read this blog. Thank you to the catering staff for making French fries on Saturday at lunch. Thank you to Phish for setting off fireworks at midnight on Sunday so I could pretend they were being set off for my birthday. And finally thank you to myself for not being afraid of walking up to an insanely famous and revered musician backstage and asking him for a video.
