MGMT Takeover
by Paul Farber
(06/14/09 03:05 PM)
When I had checked in with a member of MGMT's band earlier during the Festival, he promised that their set would be "new, different, yellow." In a packed tent (and celeb heavy backstage), MGMT and openers Yeasayer delivered a late night of what felt like Bonnaroo at its best.
A few images for you of the MGMT and Yeasayer shows, and a clip of the new title track from MGMT's next album, "Congratulations."
An obscured Drew Barrymore, as marked by her feather of choice for the festival.
Yeasayer's Anand Wilder during an impressive opening set.
