Volunteer FAQ

What are the requirements of volunteers?
•    All volunteers must be at least 18 years of age, no exceptions.
•    All shift times are approximate and may vary.  We will do our best to keep things fair and consistent, however shift times and total work hours will not be the same for all volunteers.  Volunteer must be flexible.
•    Volunteers agree to be on time to all assigned shifts.
•    Volunteers are required to put down a $260.00 deposit via PayPal, including a non-refundable $10 deposit-processing fee. Sorry, no forms of payment other than PayPal are accepted.
•    Deposits are due no later than Monday, May 12, 2008 at 5:00 PM Eastern. If your deposit is not received by this date, your application will be automatically declined. No late deposits will be accepted. No exceptions!
•    Volunteer positions are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. If all positions are filled prior to Monday, May 12, 2008 at 5:00 PM, we reserve the right to stop accepting deposits before this date, even if your application was approved. Make sure to get your deposit in early to ensure you get a spot! (In the event that you send a deposit before we notify you that there are no longer volunteer positions available, your full deposit including the processing fee will be refunded to you. If you send your deposit after we notify you that no more positions are available, only your $250 deposit will be refunded; your $10 deposit-processing fee will not be refunded.)
•    Your deposit will be reimbursed via PayPal upon the completion of your shifts in the week following the festival, minus the $10 deposit-processing fee. Your deposit represents your commitment to Bonnaroo, not a payment. As long as you fulfill your volunteer duties, your deposit will be returned via PayPal after the festival.
•    Note that if you cancel less than one week from the day of your first shift, you agree that your full deposit will be forfeited to Bonnaroo.
